It may seem at first glance that there is no specific method for using and preserving perfume. However, it’s interesting to know that experts in this industry have established clear principles for long-term preservation of perfume and the correct way of using it, which is very practical.

The first step is providing a proper condition of perfume storage. According to the experts, you should never expose perfume to direct light and heat. It is best to store it inside its box and in a dark and cool place with the appropriate temperature. This won’t only preserve the color and composition but also prevents any changes in its scent.

Another important point is how to apply the first spray of the perfume. You should always spray the first burst of perfume directly and firmly to establish pressure equilibrium. If you don’t apply it firmly or tilt the bottle during the first spray, your perfume may experience a slight alteration.

When using the perfume, never let the atomizer touch your skin. Due to the mechanism of olfactory pyramid and in order to prevent any changes in the scent also to ensure longevity of its scent, you should spray or dab the perfume onto your skin while maintaining a distance of 15 to 30 centimeters from your skin. (Note: Never spray perfume on your clothes). To enhance fragrance diffusion and longevity, it’s better to apply it to the pulse points of body. Eventually, if you have dry skin, we advise you to use a fragrance-free lotion or moisturizing cream on the desired area before applying the perfume.
