Latidan is reminiscent of an ancient civilization from our motherland, Iran. This time, Masterpiece brand introduces an important and very ancient structure that was built during the reign of Shah Abbas I. This structure is called Latidan Bridge, which is the longest historical bridge in Iran. The 500 years old Latidan bridge is located in 50 meters west from Bandar Abbas in Hormozgan province, on the Kol (kool) river, and is a valuable momento of Safavieh era. Due to the fact that the Kol River is one of the rivers of the region with a wide bed and seasonal floods, it was necessary to build a long bridge on it in the way of caravan routh. Therefore, this magnificent bridge was built during the construction of this road. It has played an effective role in transition of force and supplies to regain the Persian Gulf region from the Portuguese colonists, therefore the Latidan Bridge is very important in the history of Iran. This bridge also was connecting the city of Bandar Abbas to Larestan with a length of about one kilometer. Another characteristic of this ancient monument is its different structure. Unlike other tegular bridges of the Safavieh era, this bridge is made of shapeless stone. In fact, the materials used in the construction of this bridge are uncut and heterogeneous stones that are pasted together with mortar. As a result, the lack of a strong foundation has caused the destruction of this historical monument. The remarkable point about this structure is the length of Latidan bridge (Kol bridge) which is three times longer than the length of Isfahan bridge. Latidan Bridge was buried under the soil for many years and in 1372, due to inundation of river it was exposed near the village of Kalmatli (Latidan). This Iranian perfume, which is also known as masterpiece cologne, is a story without words, whose amazing and mysterious scent tells us about an ancient civilization.
